This is the first day of the rest of my blog.
I just saw a recipe for pear cranberry gingersnap crumble and I want to rush to the store for ingredients and then straight home to make it while sipping hot mulled wine cider and finishing the last couple chapters of my book. Then, I want to eat it hot out of the oven with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream and I want to wear sweats and fuzzy socks and watch something really trashy on tv...for the rest of the day. Not Sex in the City trashy, but Lifetime Original trashy. I love fall but loathe having to work in fall.
Working during these cozy months in possibly the worst. The weather makes me want to be a homebody, the flavors make me want to bake, the rain makes me want to sit on the couch and snuggle in the blanket while reading a good book.
